In EM Resorts, we are fully committed to the vision of a clean planet,... undertaking a commitment to all things eco through a meaningful pledge of sustainability. In EM Resorts, we are fully committed to the vision of a clean planet, undertaking a commitment to all things eco through a meaningful pledge of sustainability. Minoan Palace maintains energy-efficiency practices, focusing on reducing energy and water dispersion, informing guests and visitors -via seminars- about endangered species and recycling. In Euphoria Resort, energy consumption is monitored through a Building Management System(BMS), installed both indoors and outdoors, whilst almost half of the hotel’s electricity needs is produced by a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system. A fully automated underground watering system and an underground tubing structure secure a minimum loss of water and a waterless system is used to clean all rooms and public areas. In both premises, a contemporary geothermal system is put in place, securing low-cost and eco-friendly heating and cooling. As the effects of global climate change become alarmingly dire, we- at EM Resorts- are determined to reduce our own detrimental impact on the environment. In this effort, we consider both our guests and staff, as partners and valuable assets in our constantly evolving pro-green managerial policy.
The ancient Greeks used to say: “A healthy mind fits in a healthy body”.... In EM Resorts, this statement becomes a modern day modus vivendi, via means of cultivating an overall psychogenic state of mind that evolves through time, consensus view, nutritional habits and a sociable modus operandi.
